Trust in our pharmaceutical purified water systems for the utmost in water quality and reliability. The process of generating purified water through our advanced pharmaceutical water systems involves several critical steps to ensure the highest level of water purity and quality.
Pretreatment
The first stage involves pretreatment, where raw water from the source is carefully filtered to remove larger particles, sediment, and suspended solids. This step helps protect downstream components and minimizes the risk of fouling.

Reverse Osmosis
The pretreated water then undergoes reverse osmosis (RO), a process that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved salts, minerals, and other impurities. RO effectively separates the water molecules from contaminants, producing highly purified water.
Electrode ionization (EDI)
Following the RO stage, the water passes through an electrode ionization (EDI) process. EDI employs ion-exchange membranes and an electric field to remove remaining ions, including trace levels of dissolved impurities, such as minerals and heavy metals, further enhancing the water’s purity.

UV Disinfection
To ensure microbiological safety, the water may be exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. UV disinfection effectively neutralizes and destroys harmful microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and parasites, without the need for chemicals, providing a final layer of protection.
Storage and Distribution
Once purified, the water is stored in dedicated stainless-steel tanks to maintain the water’s integrity and prevent contamination. From there, a carefully controlled distribution system ensures the delivery of purified water to various points of use within the pharmaceutical facility.
